The Athys II is the Daniel Roth’s entry level timepiece and is available in white or rose gold. It is large and flat - 42 mm wide, 44 mm and 6.2 mm thick - giving it an elegant profile on the wrist. The Papillon chronograph is a large watch - 43 mm by 46 mm, 15.5 mm high and weighing in at over 200 g - which puts it into Panerai and Royal Oak Offshore territory. The only nit I have to pick about its dimensions is its thickness. I do wish it was marginally slimmer, but its height is a consequence of the movement, because of the dial-side modifications done for the jump hour and minute hands...
