A look at the stunning new Daniel Roth Athys II...

The Athys II is the Daniel Roth’s entry level timepiece and is available in white or rose gold. It is large and flat - 42 mm wide, 44 mm and 6.2 mm thick - giving it an elegant profile on the wrist. A review of the Daniel Roth Papillon Chronograph

The Papillon chronograph is a large watch - 43 mm by 46 mm, 15.5 mm high and weighing in at over 200 g - which puts it into Panerai and Royal Oak Offshore territory. The only nit I have to pick about its dimensions is its thickness. I do wish it was marginally slimmer, but its height is a consequence of the movement, because of the dial-side modifications done for the jump hour and minute hands...
